Dr. Baha’ al-Din Makawi prepared and conducted a training course for a group of Sudanese university professors as part of the activities of the Association of Sudanese University Professors in Qatar, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Sudan, during the period from 13–22 February 2021. The workshop lasted for 22 hours over five days and included the following training topics: * A lecture on the concept of quality in higher education institutions. * A workshop entitled “Twenty-First Century Skills/Competencies.” * A workshop on how to prepare a labor market study and conduct benchmarking for academic programs. * A workshop on designing academic program specifications and course descriptions.
