This book is a collection of articles published in Arab and Sudanese newspapers during the period extending from February 2016 to February 2017. These articles did not address daily current events that ended with the conclusion of the events themselves; otherwise, there would have been no need to publish them in a book, because this type of article loses its relevance once its subject ends and is eventually forgotten. Therefore, the writer always prefers to focus on discussing issues characterized by relative continuity and that impose themselves urgently on both the domestic and international arenas, casting their influence on the future of the country and the nation in general. This book addresses various topics, some related to regional and international affairs, while others concern Sudanese political issues. Although the subjects of these articles differ and vary, they generally fall within the broad framework of development issues in its wider meaning. The articles address topics related to education, economics, politics, society, and culture.
